Join us on Wednesday, November 15th for our after work social at Spitfires on State (5018 W. State St., Milwaukee).  Spitfires is known for their very casual atmosphere, good food & great wings.  We'll start gathering in the bar area at 5:00 pm.  As always, guests and prospective members are welcome! 

Join the Rotary Straight Shooters fellowship for our monthly outing on Thursday, October 19. We'll enjoy a pleasant fall evening of fellowship and comradery while breaking clay targets at the Waukesha Gun Club. We'll shoot 5-Stand from one of the heated and covered houses at a lighted field of targets thrown from eights positions around the field.

We will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the clubhouse to check-in and then proceed to one of the four houses..

Guests and anyone new to shooting are welcome. We'll have seasoned members there to coach and help you.

After shooting, we’ll gather at a nearby establishment for socializing, refreshments, and food.

The Community Service Commitee is meeting to finalize the mini grant allocation recommendations.

Dr. Mark Federle is Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Marquette University

The Special Olympics is looking for volunteers to help with the 2023 WCSO Special Olympics Bowling Tournament.

Volunteers are needed to be assigned to lanes and help keep score, figuring out winners and handing out the medals.

There are two time slots (11:00am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-2:30pm).

We need 4+ people for each time slot.

Wellpoint's holiday party for their foster families in the Milwaukee area will be at the Italian Community Center. (631 E. Chicago Milwaukee). Volunteers are needed to run the event.

Join a small group of Rotarians for dinner at a local restaurant.  More details to follow.

Will bring own laptop with presentation loaded.

Veterans in Focus will hold thier next photography exhibit at the War Memorial Center, Veterans Gallery from January 9-19. The Special Meet and Great Veteran artists will be Tuesday January 16 from 11am to 11:45am.

The Marquette Engineers Without Borders / Marquette Service Engineers Annual Silent Auction is on Saturday, February 17th at Broken Bat Brewery from 4 - 7pm. This event is our biggest fundraiser, and our team has been working diligently to plan the auction. The funds raised will go directly to supporting projects with communities in Guatemala and our chapter. We have a wide selection of items including a signed Packer's football, a wine tasting experience, handmade art from Guatemala, and more!

Join the Rotary Straight Shooters fellowship for our monthly outing on Thursday, March 15. We'll enjoy a pleasant evening of fellowship and comradery while breaking clay targets at the Waukesha Gun Club. We'll shoot Sporting Clays from one of the two courses. Sportings Clays is similar to golf in that we walk the course in groups of 3 to 5 shooters and shoot pairs of clay targets from 10 - 16 stands along the course. The clays are thrown in various presentations. Scores are noted based on the number of clays that are broken (before they hit the ground). Unlike golf however, the higher the score the better.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll shoot 5-Stand from one of the heated and covered houses at the Club.

We will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the clubhouse to check-in and then proceed to one of the four houses..

The City of Brookfield and Elmbrook Rotary Club are teaming up to build a new inclusive playground at Wirth Park.

On April 13, 2024 we are holding our PLAY for FUNdraising EVENT at the Brookfield Convention Center.  This is a ticketed event that will include beverages, food, live entertainment, raffle baskets,  live and silent auctions.

We will be distributing books from our book drive and reading to the students from Congress Elementary

This year's TriCon event kicks off on April 18th in Green Bay.  Our friends from the Fond du Lac Morning Club and the Elmbrook Rotary Club have invited us to join them at Joe's Sporting Clays in Reedsville.  The plan is to meet in the afternoon, prior to the TriCon opener, and build goodwill and better friendships with some fellow Rotarians on their way to the conference.

A round of Sporting Clays features 50 targets at a cost of $19.00.

12, 16, 20, 28 and 410 shells are available for purchase.

Shotguns are available to rent.

Note: All costs are the responsibility of individual Rotarians.

Cash only - No Credit or Debit Cards are accepted at the gun club.
