We'll enjoy a pleasant evening of fellowship and comradery while breaking clay targets at the Waukesha Gun Club. We'll shoot 5-Stand from one of the heated and covered houses at a lighted field of targets thrown from eights positions around the field.

We will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the clubhouse to check-in and then proceed to one of the four houses..

Guests and anyone new to shooting are welcome. We'll have seasoned members there to coach and help you. Shotguns and shells are avaialble for rent/purchase at the Club.

Break the light colored clay occasionaly thrown from trap 7 and win a free "after shooting" beer at the Club bar. After shooting, we’ll gather at a nearby establishment for a pre-holiday dinner, refreshments, and socializing. Spouses and significant others welcome.

Good afternoon,

As I mentioned during last weeks meeting, the bunkbeds funded by Community Service have arrived and are ready to be installed. 

I will be sending out 2 different sign-up sheets. Tuesday, March 18, from 9am - 3pm. And a separate sign-up for the following Saturday, March 22nd.

This will, hopefully, allow for more member participation, and as this might be a challenging project, we will not feel that everything needs to be accomplished on a single day. I am hoping for at least 12 volunteers between the 2 days. 

My biggest ask, is that folks who are interested in participating on either day, please respond as quickly as possible. If we need additional volunteers I have some interest from both the Mukwanago and Waukesha Noon club.

A spring cleanup of the Fox River trail.

The week of April 7 - 11, 2025 the City of Waukesha will pick up any brush or landscape drebris left at the curb.

I am looking for up to 10 volunteers to help cut down bushes, scrub trees and some vines that have overtaken our fence line.

I have also reached out to Mark Blodgett and he will recruit some additional volunteers from his Mukwanago Club. If you have a small chain saw, sheers, loppers or other tools and implements please bring them along. 

Rules:

• Brush, branches, and leaves must be set on the terrace (grass area between curb and sidewalk).  Do NOT place material in the street and do NOT block the sidewalk.
• The brush/branches/leaves should be set with the butt ends at the curb (unless the length of the brush/branches blocks the sidewalk—then they need to be set the long way.)
• Branches/brushes can be up to 3 inches in diameter and 6 feet long.
• Do NOT tie the brush/branches into bundles.
• Do NOT put into bags, boxes, or other containers. Keep brush/branches/leaves loose in piles set on the ground.
• Do NOT include any other objects in the brush/branch/leaves pile.

We need 5 or 6 volunteers for the spring ERC Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup on Saturday April 19th, 2025 for a 2-mile stretch of Hwy 59 (Greenfield Ave.) on Brookfield's south side.   We'll have signs, safety vests, trash picker grabbing tools and trash bags available. David Urban will introduce

The Potawatomi Area Council Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts) is holding their 2025 Sporting Clays Classic on Friday, May 9 at the Waukesha Club. Help us provide Rotary support as either a voluteer helping out at the event or a participant.

This is a fendraising event for the Scouts that helps support the great work they do in helping develop future leaders.

Eight volunteers are needed to greet and sell tickets for prizes at a few stations during the event (no experience required) and general helping out where needed.
