The Potawatomi Area Council Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts) is holding their 2025 Sporting Clays Classic on Friday, May 9 at the Waukesha Club. Help us provide Rotary support as either a voluteer helping out at the event or a participant. This is a fendraising event for the Scouts that helps support the great work they do in helping develop future leaders. Eight volunteers are needed to greet and sell tickets for prizes at a few stations during the event (no experience required) and general helping out where needed. Three great events (plus an exiting optional event) - participate in one are all of them and do your part to help Rotary End Polio once and for all.
Event 1 - Breakfast at the World Famous Machine Shed in Pewaukee
Enter the Pancake Eating Contest - or just have coffee
Event 2 - A 45 mile convertible drive to through the Kettle Moraine to scenic Elkhorn
For the purpose of Fighting Polio --- Convertibles are defined as movable vehicles which allow outside air to circulate inside the passenger area - including Soft top, Hardtop, T-Top, no top, sunroof, moon roof, no roof, windows that roll down, no windows, gasoline, diesel, electric, battery or pedal power. If you have one of these - You Are In!!
Event 3 - Elkhorn Oktoberfest Celebration - Food, Beer, Car Show, Axe Throwing, Stuff for Sale! The Elkhorn Rotary will be having a booth - so we can also support our fellow District Rotarians
Event 4 - (Optional) Beer Stein Lifting - Donate the entry fee amount to End Polio and the Club will pay the entry fee for any member who wishes exhibit their Stein Hoisting prowess.
Donations to End Polio Now from your fellow Elmbrook Rotarian may be just what it takes to get you into the competition.
This is an event to raise money to End Polio Now!
And Elmbrook has always been one of the Top Clubs in the District when it comes to Ending Polio Now!
So to participate --- send your Donation to the Elmbrook Rotary Foundation - End Polio Now and let me know!
Plenty of ways to participate
A voluntary donation per car - enough to inoculate 25 children - $25 - is what we suggest as a starting point. Of course more is better.

Then donate the price of a second round to End Polio.
