Literacy/Tutoring |
Club members along with other area Rotarians take part in a tutoring program twice a week at Capitol West Academy in Milwaukee to grade school students who have difficulty reading. |

Diane's Dictionaries |
Helping to promote kids’ interest in vocabulary and reading, Diane’s Dictionaries, brings dictionaries and Pictionaries to children at Milwaukee area schools. The program was started by Elmbrook Rotarian Barry James and his daughters April and Holly in memory of Barry’s wife, Diane, who passed away unexpectedly in 2009. |

Book & Magazine Drives |
Several times a year, we collect books and magazines that are then provided to different organizations such as those imprisoned at the Waukesha County Jail or for people visiting the Brookfield Library as well as Literacy Services of Wisconsin.

Food Drives |
We collect all types of food and dry goods for The Waukesha Food Pantry which in turn distributes the food to individuals and families throughout the year.

Ronald McDonald House Charities |
Four times a year, we volunteer at The Rondald McDonald House in Milwaukee that is a home away from home from families whose children are receiving medical treatment locally.

Wilson Center Sponsor |
Elmbrook Rotary Club was an early donor in the drive to build the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts. Dedicated to arts education and enrichment, the Center offers classes, performances, exhibits and lectures in visual and performing arts, as well as vital performance space for local area schools and students. |

Our members volunteer time and money to help reduce domestic violence and family conflict through advocacy, empowerment, violence prevention and intervention, services and education. |

Every holiday season, Club members share a wonderful evening of gifts, singing, food and fun with kids staying at this foster home on Milwaukee's west side. |
