On Tuesday, September 30th a group of 11 Elmbrook Rotarians, family and friends joined students from Fairview South at the Milwaukee County Zoo for a fun-filled morning. The event has become an annual tradition that began with The Brookfield Rotary Club and former Brookfield Club President, Greg O’Connell joined in the effort.

For those who aren’t aware, Fairview South School is located in Brookfield and is especially designed to meet the unique needs of students ages 10 – 21 with mild/moderate to severe/profound cognitive disabilities. Students may also have needs related to communication, behavior, vision, hearing, autism, and physical disabilities. The school focuses on each student’s abilities and strengths to encourage participation in a program designed to meet their individual needs.
