The week of April 7 - 11, 2025 the City of Waukesha will pick up any brush or landscape drebris left at the curb.
I am looking for up to 10 volunteers to help cut down bushes, scrub trees and some vines that have overtaken our fence line.
I have also reached out to Mark Blodgett and he will recruit some additional volunteers from his Mukwanago Club. If you have a small chain saw, sheers, loppers or other tools and implements please bring them along.
Rules:
- Brush, branches, and leaves must be set on the terrace (grass area between curb and sidewalk). Do NOT place material in the street and do NOT block the sidewalk.
- The brush/branches/leaves should be set with the butt ends at the curb (unless the length of the brush/branches blocks the sidewalk—then they need to be set the long way.)
- Branches/brushes can be up to 3 inches in diameter and 6 feet long.
- Do NOT tie the brush/branches into bundles.
- Do NOT put into bags, boxes, or other containers. Keep brush/branches/leaves loose in piles set on the ground.
- Do NOT include any other objects in the brush/branch/leaves pile.
