The City of Brookfield is excited to announce the Wirth Park Playground Renovation Project. The playground will be designed with inclusive features allowing all ages and abilities the opportunity to play and socialize together.
John reviewed the design criteria key points that will provide:
- Social Inclusion
- Independence
- Active Motion
- Imagination
- Graduated Complexity
Features of the playground will allow “kids with all skills and abilities to play together in parallel play”.
John thanked the Elmbrook Rotary members for being an integral part of this project as a major sponsor and host of the upcoming Fundraising Event.
“This project would not be moving forward without people like you.”
All the sponsors will be recognized at the park with large donor signs at the entrance of the facility, as well as putting donor information on the website. “The Rotary Club will be front, and center and people will know you are a major contributor to the Project.”
Mayor Steve Ponto shared: “The Wirth Park Playground project will benefit the community for many years to come, developing a space for leisure and play for all abilities and ages will bring our community together, fostering friendships and lifelong memories.”
