On Friday evening, August 23, Elmbrook Rotary welcomed its newest Rotary Youth Exchange student, Fuka Sunagawa, from Japan. Five ERC members, together with their families, welcomed Fuka as she arrived at Billy Michtell IAP.

The Jeffrey Griffin family is serving once again as host family for the first months of Fuka's junior year at Elmbrook Central H.S. In addition to father Jeff, the Griffin family includes spouse Sherrie and their adult children, Mackenzie and Patrick. This is the third Rotary Youth Exchange student whom they have hosted.
Fuka was immediately immersed in ERC activities when she and the Griffin family visited the Brookfield Farmers' Market the very next day and got to meet Packers legend Bob Long at the ERC tent. Fuka will be seen frequently at ERC breakfast meetings, beginning on Friday, August 30.
