On Wednesday evening, December 11th, the Elmbrook Rotary Club sponsored the Annual Christmas Party for the resident boys at St. Aemilian-Lakeside on Capitol Drive in Milwaukee.

The event, which is in its 20th year, was coordinated by the Community Service Committee of ERC and Co-chairs of this year's program were Jeanne Allen and Bonnie Bertram.

Over 20 Elmbrook Rotarians attended this year’s event and brought Christmas gifts for the boys who enjoyed Pizza, a magic show and Christmas carols before getting a surprise visit from Santa! This year, there were 43 resident boys who attended along with15 staff members from St. A’s and 22 Elmbrook Rotarians

St. Aemilian-Lakeside or St. A’s, is located adjacent to Capitol West Academy on North 88th Street in Milwaukee. Elmbrook Rotary has a strong partnership with Capitol West Academy, a University of  Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) Independent Charter School, provided tutoring and other programs for the past 6 years.
