Just before the holidays 8 members of Elmbrook Rotary spent a day helping to brighten the holidays for young adults living in a supportive housing program in Wauwatosa. Club members painted 2 stairwells in an apartment building operated by Bridge To Brighter. A program that provides affordable housing and other supportive services for young men who have aged out of the foster care system but still need a supportive environment to help them achieve their goals of employment and becoming self-sufficient beyond the challenges and barriers that life has presented.
Bridge To Brighter supports young men with mentoring, building healthy relationships, and creating life success plans that promote healing and building a brighter future. You can learn more about their fantastic programs at www.bridgetobrighter.org
Elmbrook Rotary Club, Community Service Committee, builds fellowship among our members by providing service to many organizations like Bridge To Brighter in the greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County area.

To learn more about Rotary, consider joining us at an upcoming meeting held Friday mornings at 7:00am at St. Camillus.

Members who participated in this service project were, Mark Thurner, Paul Langer, Mia Shana, Mike Hogan, Jean Guzetta, Greg Bonk and Nick Sgarlata (Bridge to Brighter Executive Director)
