Business Person of the Year

The Elmbrook Rotary Club has opened nominations for the 2019 Business Person of the Year Award to honor a strong local leader who has entrepreneurial skills and strategic vision. Applicants must be a majority owner and/or operating head of a successful, for profit business located in the City of Brookfield, Town of Brookfield, or Village of Elm Grove for 5+ years.
This award was established in 2017 by the Elmbrook Rotary Club to shine a spotlight on an individual in our Elmbrook community who has demonstrated:
  • service-mindedness
  • significant, measurable contributions to his/her industry
  • significant community involvement
  • strong customer service skills
  • effective leadership qualities
Nominations for this award will be accepted through Saturday, October 12th via the Elmbrook Rotary Club website only.
The Elmbrook Rotary Club will publicly announce and honor the award winner at our Friday morning, October 25th meeting, 7-8 a.m. at the Western Racquet Club in Elm Grove.
The 2018 award winner was Mark Mirsberger, CEO of Dana Investment Advisors, in the Town of Brookfield.

ERC began in 1983 and is part of Rotary International which was founded in 1905.  The Club is an active group of over 80 individuals with a wide range of backgrounds from business professionals and community leaders to those who work in public service.  The Rotary official motto is “Service Above Self” and the Club slogan is “We Rise & Shine” referring to the fact that they were the first breakfast club in Rotary District 6270.
